Foreigners from all nationalities, including Thai nationals, visiting Maldives for tourism are granted tourist visa on arrival in the Maldives provided they satisfy the basic entry requirements to get immigration clearance upon arrival.

Duration of Stay Granted
At the discretion of the Maldives Immigration, the maximum duration of stay of 30 days will usually be granted under the Tourist Visa on arrival.
The period of stay granted will be shown on the endorsement in the passport. Visitors are advised to check their passport for the arrival endorsement and take note of the number of days granted to stay in Maldives.
